Stitch is a big built 15.1hh, 14 year old, Silver Dun/Grulla Quarter Horse Gelding. Stitch is a well traveled horse that has been ridden in several states and has been used as a ranch horse in every aspect of ranch life. From herding to sorting, pasture roping and doctoring, Stitch is stout enough to pull anything that you can throw a rope on! He has been trail ridden in several states and used at the stockyards to pen cattle on a few occassions. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. Stitch is a great horse for the whole family to ride and he will help build your confidence levels! My 10 year old daughter took him to school to ride infront of her class for the Talent Show. Of course they all gathered around and petted on him and got their pics made with him. Stitch is safe riding in traffic. He has a smooth jog, a nice lope, will slide stop, turns a circle both ways, sidepasses and backs with ease! Stitch has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. If you want to feel and look like a real deal cowboy/cowgirl just climb on Stitch and he will make you look like one! Feel free to call Eric with any questions at 606-308-2461.
