RR Peppy Drift- Consigned to Ocala Horse Sale Jan. 5-6th

RR Peppy Drift is a beautiful 15hh, coming 6 year old, Palomino, Registered Quarter Horse Gelding! He is a light gold color right now but in the summer he is a darker palomino with chocolate dapples. His pedigree goes back to Leo Hancock Hayes and PC Frost Emn Peppy!!! This summer and all fall Peppy has been earning his living working on a feedlot in Kansas. He has been loading trucks, sorting and doctoring cattle. He has been rode in big country with rough terrain. He is a laid back gentle type of horse that still has all the buttons. Peppy has been well started out of the box on the head side and is turning steers and facing them well. Peppy has had 45 days of reining training as well and he would be a great horse to put in the show pen for Ranch Riding classes. He is great on the trails and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He is safe riding in traffic. He has a smooth jog, a nice lope, will slide stop, turns a circle both ways, sidepasses and backs with ease! Peppy has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Peppy is a great horse for anyone who has work to do out on the ranch, if you want to enter the team roping, put him in the Ranch Riding show pen or if you just want to mosey along down the trails.
