Smokin Gold Bars

Smokin Gold Bars is a stout built 15.3H, 2019 Model registered AQHA, Golden Palomino Quarter Horse Gelding. Sometimes we have top notch ranch horses, sometimes we have top notch trail horses… but sometimes you find one that is a top notch FAMILY HORSE who can also work on the ranch and handle the rough trails… Smoke is that horse!!! From herding to sorting, Smoke has done it all! He has been trail ridden in several states and been in some high country that is very rough and rocky. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. Smoke has a smooth jog and a nice lope! He will lope good circles and take the correct leads, stops and backs with ease. Smoke’s main job description has been packing… packing kids around! He has been ridden 2-3 kids at a time, trail ridden by a 5 year old boy and is Smoke is slow and easy with more whoa than go which makes him the perfect family horse! Smoke has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He is safe on the highways around all types of traffic and has been ridden through busy towns.
