Shiner’s Trashy Bo

$20,000.00

Shiner’s Trashy Bo is a beautiful buckskin paint, 15-15.1hh, 11 year old, Registered APHA, Gelding. Shiner was my favorite horse that we had in 2022! We sold him about a year ago to a good customer in Maryland who has bought several horses/mules from us for his Granddaughter to learn to ride on. Over the course of the last year Shiner has been the perfect horse! They have trail rode him, took him all over their farm and even been to a few playdays. But as she progressed she was ready to move up from a beginner type horse and Shiner is built for feed not speed so we made a trade for a more advanced horse. If you are looking for one that checks all the boxes Shiner is the horse for you!!! If you need a horse that can go sort some cows off to sell, climb on Shiner… Got a sick calf that needs doctored? Get your LA200 and a rope and Shiner will track it down… Want to go trail ride and gossip with your friends… Shiner is never in a hurry… Need to entertain the kids for a couple hours??? Give them a brush and tell them to make him sparkle, then tack him up and turn him loose! Shiner is a do it all type of horse!!! He is a well traveled horse that has seen the big country out west, been down to the hills of Tennessee and he has been ridden thoughout Kentucky! He has had reining training, been shown in ranch and western pleasure classes. He has had professional roping training out of the box on the head side and is a good head horse! He has worked at a small feedyard, knows his way around cattle and is a good sorter. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He is traffic safe. He has a smooth jog, a very nice lope, will slide stop, spins a circle both ways, sidepasses and backs with ease! He has all the bells and whistles but has the mind that makes him easy to operate! Shiner is a confident horse on the trails and will lead the crew, head out alone or follow behind with no issues! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Shiner is not cinchy, cold backed, does not crib or weave. If you’re looking for a classy looking trail, ranch, roping or family horse… no mater how dirty he gets he will always Shine!!!
