Mocha

Meet Mocha, the horse of multiple colors!!! Mocha is a Percheron X Quarter Horse cross gelding, weighing 1200lbs, he is 5 years old, he stands 16h and a beautiful flowing mane and tail! Mocha is one horse that I honestly can’t tell you what color he is… some folks say he’s a grulla, some say he’s a champagne, others say he is a chocolate… but one thing everyone agrees on is that is STUNNING! Mocha is out of the same breeding program as several other top draftcross geldings that we have had over the last 4 years and every one of them has the right mind with the calm nature that makes them great family horses. Mocha has been in the program for two years and has completed the natural horsemanship training and does liberty work and he also knows some tricks, like laying down on cue. Mocha is a family favorite whether it’s riding or just hanging out getting pampered by the kids, everyone loves him! He has been ridden down the highways and he is traffic safe as well. Mocha is harness broke and has been used on the farm in all implements as well as drove down the highways. Mocha is great on trails and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He has a smooth jog, a VERY VERY nice easy to set lope, he will slide stop, spins several circles both ways and backs with ease! Mocha has had some reining training and has the best handle of any draftcross that I have seen!!! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed.
