Duster

Duster is a well-built 15hh, 6-year-old, Golden Palomino Quarter Horse Gelding. Duster is a well-traveled horse that has been ridden in several states and has been used as a ranch horse in every aspect of ranch life. From herding to sorting, pasture roping and doctoring. We have taken him out on several jobs catching wild cattle, and we have used him several weeks at the stockyards penning cattle. He has been tracking the roping dummy and has been roped out of the box as well on both sides. He has been trail ridden in several states by all levels of riders. He has been my daughter’s favorite horse to ride around our place on the trails and out checking cattle. Duster is a fancy broke, well-trained horse that is gentle enough for any level of rider, in fact he will teach you how to ride! He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough, rocky areas. He has a smooth jog, the smoothest lope that you will set on, will slide stop, spins a circle both ways, sidepasses and backs with ease! Duster has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked to. He has been ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed.
