Just like on the cartoon, Dora The Explorer, DIEGO is READY FOR HIS NEXT ADVENTURE! Let’s go! If your kid is ready to graduate from the lazy, 20 year old, starter pony and start doing some riding on a small horse that is still safe, Diego is the pony they’ve been waiting for! If you have been a follower of our website and business, I’m sure you have noticed that our pony princess, Lynnlee is getting older(almost 9) and taller (5ft) (makes Dad this sad) so after having Diego in her pony collection for going on the 3rd year now, we have decided to offer him up for sale so that he can go make some other little cowboy or cowgirl(or smaller adult) miles and miles of memories! Diego is a gorgeous bay & white paint gelding, standing 12.3HH, he is very stout built and is 8 years old. He’s the perfect size for a young rider who is ready to step up to a pony with a little more ability, training, and adventure under his belt. Or if you are a smaller adult Diego is perfectly capable of handling taking you down the trails! Diego the Explorer has been everywhere! He’s been around the ranch, helped push cattle, traveled miles of trails, and confidently handles the obstacles he meets along the way. Creeks, hills, logs, ditches, brush, rough country—you point Diego in the direction you want to explore and off he goes! Don’t think he’s just a dumb trail pony, either, Diego is really well trained and fun in the arena. He rides around nicely, lopes beautiful circles, and gives a young rider a pony they can actually learn and advance on. Diego is what we call that PERFECT STEP-UP PONY. He’s past the stage of being the lazy, kick, kick, kick, kick to get a few steps babysitter pony that you have to have to start on. When the kids have gained their confidence and are saying, “I want one I can actually ride!” — Diego is the one they want. He’s big enough to feel like they’ve moved up to a “real horse,” yet still packaged in that handy 12.3HH pony size. Whether it’s spending the afternoon in the arena, helping around the ranch, pushing cattle, or heading down the trail to see what’s around the next bend, Diego is the kind of pony that keeps riding fun.
