Clover

Clover is just as sweet as his name suggest! He is an awesome looking 15.2h, Bay Roan Draftcross gelding! He is 5 years old and is a sturdy built horse. Clover came from the same breeding farm that a lot of our draftcrosses come from and with that farm we find the constant quiet, gentle, laid back temperament that makes them such good family safe trail horses! Clover is no exception to that statement as he is a super quiet, gentle, laid back type of horse that is going to suit any rider and help build your confidence. Not to mention he is very friendly as well! Clover can do a variety of things from pulling carriages, to ranch work or trail rides. Clover has been on camping trips, been ridden in several states and has been ridden by all ages of beginners. We took him on a week long trip to Texas and Missouri back in March as an extra for some of our friends (total beginners!!!) to ride around an exotic ranch. Clover saw Bison, Water Buffalo, Emu, Ostriches, Camels, Nilgai, Blesbok, Ibex, Rusa, Corsican, Zebra, and even got chased by a herd of Wildebeest(they are mean little critters!) We even rode on the beach of the Barzos River and across it as well. But nothing phased Clover! When out on the ranch or going down the trails, he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He is safe in traffic safe whether that be trucks or cars. He’s been ridden around the ranch, checked cows and rode fences. Clover moves very smoothly, as he has a nice jog, his lope is smooth as well and he lopes nice circles on a loose rein!
