Buddy

Buddy is a stout built gelding standing 13.1hh and he is coming 6 years old. He is the perfect size for the kids but plenty stout enough to carry a shorter lady. Buddy has the right size and he also has the right mindset to be the horse for the whole family to enjoy! Our kids have played on him for hours and he is very tolerant as he is a confidence builder, slow and easy is his preferred speed! But the best part about him is his willingness… he is not stubborn or head strong so he is very easy for the timid riders to get along with. He has the smoothest lope that you will set on and he is easy to get into it, he has a big sliding stop like a big horse would have, you just have to say whoa and Buddy puts on the brakes, he turns a circle both ways and backs with ease! He is a trail horse deluxe that will mosey along down the trails and he will never be in a hurry! He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He is safe riding in traffic. Buddy knows his way around the ranch and when asked he can go get the work done as well. Buddy is a confident horse on the trails and will lead the crew, head out alone with no issues! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed.
