Lakota

Lakota is standing around 14h, he is 5 years old, a Gypsy Vanner Cross, Gelding and if you are looking for a horse that will bring countless smiles, miles of memories and nothing but good times in the saddle… then meet Lakota. He has been our 7-year-old boys favorite ride all summer long, and he has been tested over and over again, passing with flying colors every time! This guy loves attention and likes to be pampered! From braids to baths, he loves his time with his kids! He is gentle enough for the kids to ride but stout enough to comfortably carry a smaller adult. Lakota is a phenomenal trail horse and goes anywhere that he is asked. He has been ridden up/down steep slopes, across creeks, ditches, deadfall, rough rocky areas… you name it, and he can handle it. He rides with confidence, will go out alone, will ride in the front or back of the group and leaves the barn with no issues. He is traffic safe and has been ridden through town. He lopes nice circles, takes the correct leads, has a good stop and is easy to operate. In addition to riding western Lakota has been ridden English and has been over jumps.
