Dancer

When you think of dancing you think of rhythm, flow, elegance… Dancer lives up to those thoughts! Dancer is a 16h, Percheron X Quarter Horse cross gelding, weighing 1400lb, he is 5 years old, and is a beautiful jet black color! Black Beauty has made it from the movie screen to your screen! Dancer is friendly with lots of personality! He is out of the same breeding program as several other top draftcross geldings that we have had over the last 4 years and every one of them has the right mind with the calm nature that makes them great family horses. Salem has been in the program for two years and has completed the natural horsemanship training and does liberty work and he also knows some tricks, as he will lady down on cue. Dancer has been ridden by every member of the family and loves getting pampered by the kids. He has been ridden down the highways and he is traffic safe as well. Dancer is harness broke and has been used on the farm in all implements as well as drove down the highways. Dancer is great on trails and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He has a smooth jog, a VERY nice easy to set lope, a good stop, turns a circle both ways and backs with ease! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed.
